There’s this odd little shopping centre on Sauchiehall Street that reminds me of the ‘indoors London’ in The Beast Below.
I’m sitting in the Atlanta airport, appropriately eating an All American Breakfast paid for with green US cash, wishing that my time in Scotland weren’t gone.
Now I know I’ve abandoned this blog for an awfully long time, but just because my stay in Scotland is over it doesn’t mean this blog is! While I didn’t blog for the past two months, I did take over 100 pictures to share, as well as accumulate stories.
Hopefully over the Christmas break I’ll get everything queued up, in between all the seeing friends and family and being back in America and celebrating the holidays. :)

Ever wonder what a hostel is like, Americans?
Well, the one I stayed at occupied a very narrow space on a crowded London street and had a kitchen, two bathrooms, and dorms that slept eight people to a room. You get a locker to put away any valuables you might have, but I was the only person in my room to use one. It was a little bit strange, sharing a room with seven complete strangers, at least two of which were male and over 40 (and one slept in his underwear)… but at the same time it was strangely a comfortable environment.

The UK hosts lots of conventions that attract big-name guests, and in London this past weekend I had the great opportunity to attend Entertainment Media Show. Guests there included David Tennant, Arthur Darvill, Eve Myles, Paul McGann, Evanna Lynch, Dame Diana Rigg, Joe Flanigan, Maisie Williams, and Sala Baker. I had a brilliant time and managed to nab this photo with a TARDIS that I found near the hostel I stayed at.
